GTA 6 release time in Belgium: when can you play?
After years of anticipation, players now know the release date for Grand Theft Auto VI. The game will arrive on 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S, with no PC version planned at launch. But as is often the case with major global releases, not everyone will be able to start playing at exactly the same moment.
According to the times shown on the PlayStation Store, as noted by the site GTAVice and reported by Eurogamer, the launch will be staggered across different regions of the world. Some players will therefore be able to discover the game several hours before people in Belgium.
Midnight in Belgium, noon the day before in New Zealand
In Belgium, GTA VI is expected to become available at midnight on the night of 18 to 19 November, as in France, Germany and the Netherlands. But some countries will be able to play earlier.
In New Zealand, the game will unlock around 12 hours earlier, meaning noon on 18 November in Belgium. According to Xboxygen, which gives the same timings for France, some players will therefore be able to start playing half a day before us.
Preloading should begin on 12 November, allowing players to download the game before release. The Standard and Ultimate editions will be accessible at the same time: no paid early access is planned.
As for the version sold in shops, it will contain a download code rather than a disc. Buying the box in advance should therefore not allow players to start the game before the official unlock time.
On Xbox, a trick could nevertheless allow players to play GTA VI several hours before its release in Belgium. This will be covered in a dedicated article.
