Ewoud Vromant claimed bronze in the time trial at the World Para Cycling Championships in Huntsville after finishing the 14.6-kilometre race in 18:22.81.
The Belgian was 25 seconds behind France’s Alexandre Léauté, who took the world title in 17:57.12. Arthur Bauchet won silver in 17:59.48.
It was the second medal for Paralympic Team Belgium in Huntsville.
Vromant will be back in action on Monday in the road race. Later the same day, Julie Debock will compete in the WC4 time trial category.
