Kamala Harris and Trump embark on campaign trail: Live updates

Former President Donald Trump made headlines once again with his remarks at a conservative Christian event in which he urged Christian voters to get him reelected this November. Trump told attendees that if they just get him back into the White House, they “won’t have to vote anymore.”

At the event hosted by Turning Point Action, Trump said, “You won’t have to (vote) anymore. Four more years. You know what? It’ll be fixed, it’ll be fine, you won’t have to vote anymore, my beautiful Christians. I love you, Christians.” He emphasized the importance of Christian voters and urged them to use their power to help him win the election.

The former president also claimed that Christians are a group known not to vote very much and encouraged them to come out and vote in this election to help him get back into the White House. Trump’s campaign has been reached out for comment on his remarks.

This is not the first time Trump has made such statements. In a previous event, he said, “I don’t care” whether Christian voters cast a ballot at all in the 2028 presidential election. His campaign spokesperson clarified that Trump was talking about uniting the country and bringing prosperity to every American.

Trump’s appeal to Christian voters and his promise of not having to vote again if he is reelected has sparked discussions and reactions. It remains to be seen how this will impact the upcoming election and the support he receives from the Christian community.
