The hospital is known for its excellence in cancer treatment, cardiology, diabetes and endocrinology, ear, nose and throat care, gastroenterology, geriatrics, neurology, orthopedics, pulmonology, and urology.
Located southeast of downtown Jacksonville at 4500 San Pablo Road South, Mayo Clinic-Florida serves as a general medical and surgical facility and is also a teaching hospital. It is about 30 miles south of the Florida-Georgia border, making it easily accessible to patients from both states.
