Kohl’s Fargo location to get Babies”R”Us shop-in-shop, Blue Water Resolute receives $750K in LIFT funding, and Grand Farm partners with Japan’s Fukaya City
FARGO — Exciting news for parents and technology enthusiasts in Fargo as Kohl’s announces a new partnership with Babies”R”Us, Blue Water Resolute receives funding for hydrogen fuel cell technology, and Grand Farm partners with Japan’s Fukaya City for international innovation in agriculture.
Kohl’s Fargo location at 4444 13th Ave. S.W. will be one of 200 stores to get a Babies”R”Us shop-in-shop, featuring a curated assortment of baby gear, furniture, and accessories. The openings will start in August, just in time for the holiday shopping season. CEO Tom Kingburry sees this as a $2 billion sales opportunity in the coming years.
In other news, the North Dakota Department of Commerce Legacy Investment for Technology Loan Fund (LIFT) Committee has awarded $750,000 in funding to Blue Water Resolute for developing hydrogen fuel cell microgrid technology. This funding will support the development of their existing products, Oncore Energy and Oncore Microgrid hydrogen fuel cell systems.
Lastly, Grand Farm announced a partnership with Fukaya City, Japan, known for creating Deep Valley, Japan’s leading AgTech ecosystem. This collaboration aims to bridge the gap between American and Japanese AgTech markets to continuously develop the AgTech ecosystem in both countries.
