‘No drama at the scene’

Sources told DailyMail that Justin met up with friends for dinner at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor for dinner.

At around 12:30 am, the NSYNC frontman allegedly got into his car and drove back to where he was staying, but was pulled over shortly after taking off.

“Justin was out to dinner with friends and there were cop cars stationed outside the restaurant, like there are most nights,” the insider explained.

“They look for people who are leaving after midnight who might have been drinking.

“Justin left at 12:30 am and was pulled over as soon as he left. Nobody was hurt and there was no drama at the scene,” they added.

More details revealed

Justin Timberlake was partying at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor before he left and started driving, according to TMZ.

The outlet reports that almost immediately after leaving, he ran a stop sign – leading police to follow him.

TMZ reports that Justin began “swerving,” so cops pulled him over.

Several of Justin’s friends reportedly came to the scene to tell officers to cut the singer a break, but they refused.

Justin ‘refused breathalyzer test’

TMZ has added that sources said police performed a field sobriety test when Justin Timberlake was arrested for a DWI.

When cops asked him to take a breathalyzer test, Justin reportedly refused.

Suffolk County DA issues statement

The Suffolk County DA has shared a statement.

“On June 18, 2024, Justin Timberlake was arrested in Sag Harbor for Driving While Intoxicated,” officials said.

“He will be arraigned in Sag Harbor Village Justice Court this morning. At this time, we have no further comment.”
