A bus crash into a block of high-rise flats in Paisley has left five people hospitalized. The incident occurred at Hamilton Court in Calside, prompting emergency services to respond quickly to the scene.

Images and news footage from the crash show significant damage to the front of the bus, with smashed windows and the front door crushed shut against the outer wall of the building. The driver was among those taken to the hospital, and McGill’s Buses stated that it is still too early to determine the cause of the accident.

Local residents rushed to help those involved in the crash, with one resident describing how he and his sister tried to calm down the dazed and confused passengers on the bus.
