Former glamour model Katie Price is pulling out all the stops to try and recover financially after facing double bankruptcy. The 45-year-old has turned to selling personalized video messages to fans on a celebrity messaging site in a bid to make some much-needed cash.
Despite currently holidaying in Cyprus with her boyfriend JJ Slater, Katie’s financial woes are clearly weighing heavily on her mind. She failed to show up for a recent bankruptcy hearing and is now resorting to creative ways to generate income.
On her Instagram account, Katie shared a screenshot of her new Cameo profile, where she is offering fans the chance to purchase personalized video messages for £120 each. The profile describes her as a “Model, Author, Podcaster” and highlights her work on shows like I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and Celebrity Big Brother.
Fans can choose from a variety of message types, including Mother’s Day greetings, birthday videos, and even a ‘roast’. They can also ask Katie a question or seek advice for the same fee.
Katie was first declared bankrupt in November 2019 with debts totaling £3.2 million. Last month, she faced bankruptcy again, owing £760,000 to the taxman. Despite missing a recent court appearance due to anxiety and depression, the judge has ordered her to attend the next hearing on May 3 or provide more detailed proof of her inability to do so, or face the possibility of a warrant for her arrest.
With her financial situation becoming increasingly dire, Katie may also be at risk of losing her beloved Mucky Mansion amid her mounting debts. Fans are eagerly awaiting to see if Katie’s latest money-making venture will help her turn her financial situation around.
