German techno-pop band Scooter is set to reunite for an epic UK and Ireland tour to celebrate their 30th anniversary. The Nineties group, known for hits like How Much Is The Fish and The Logical Song, has sold over 30 million records and amassed 2.5 billion streams worldwide.
Frontman H P Baxxter, a founding member of the Hamburg-based group, will lead the band on their Thirty, Rough and Dirty! tour, which will include eight dates in the UK and Ireland. The tour coincides with the release of Scooter’s 21st studio album, Open Your Mind And Your Trousers.
With hits both old and new promised, fans can expect an unforgettable party and celebration from Scooter. The band, which also includes Marc Blou, Jay Frog, and Jens Thele, has achieved 23 top 10 singles since their formation in Hanover three decades ago.
Their track How Much Is The Fish even served as the official song for the France 98 World Cup, prompting US chat show host Jimmy Fallon to inquire about the fish’s price. H.P. Baxxter later revealed in a video that the fish now resides in the countryside at an animal residence, and the price was a mere $3.80.
Tickets for Scooter’s tour will go on pre-sale on April 10 and general sale on April 12 via LiveNation, with VIP packages also available. Don’t miss the chance to catch this legendary band live in action!
