Tourist bitten by UK King’s Guard horse after attempting to take photo | Watch | World News

A tourist in the UK had a close encounter with a King’s Guard horse that left her shocked and in pain. The incident occurred outside the Horse Guards Parade in Westminster, central London, as the woman posed for a photo with the horse. As she placed her hand on the horse’s neck and smiled for the camera, the horse suddenly snapped at her torso, causing her to gasp in shock and nearly stumble backward.

The entire incident was captured on video and has since gone viral, sparking a conversation about the importance of respecting these majestic animals. Despite the tourist’s actions, the household cavalry soldier remained motionless and expressionless, following protocol.

This is not the first time a tourist has been bitten by a King’s Guard horse in the UK. In a separate incident, another visitor got too close to the horse and was bitten on the arm. Video footage showed the horse refusing to let go as the woman cried out for help, until another visitor intervened and gently patted the horse on the nose to release her arm.

The King’s Guard in the United Kingdom is known for its ceremonial duties and distinctive uniforms. The mounted troops are part of the household cavalry, which includes two regiments: The Life Guards and The Blues and Royals. Visitors are reminded to keep a safe distance from these horses and to respect their space to avoid any further incidents.
