Sargodha University Explores Opportunities for Collaboration in Education, Science, Technology, and Talent Development with China

The University of Sargodha and Chinese institutions come together for a Round-Table Exchange Meeting of Belt and Road Cooperation in Education, Science-Technology, and Talents in Beijing. The delegation from University of Sargodha, led by Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas, Vice Chancellor, expressed their eagerness to deepen cooperation with the Chinese side in various fields.

Prof. Dr. Ghulam Yasin, Pro-Vice Chancellor, highlighted areas of mutual interest and collaboration under the Belt and Road Initiative, including cultural exchange, sustainable development, education, and workforce development. He proposed enhancing science and technology cooperation in renewable energy, healthcare, environmental protection, and IT through joint research centers and student exchanges.

Dean, Faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. Aamir Ali Chaudhry, emphasized the importance of collaborative research and joint exchange programs in various areas such as agriculture biotechnology, renewable energy, and environmental sustainability. He praised the Belt and Road Initiative for providing equal opportunities for global growth and development.

During the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the University of Sargodha and SupperAccuracy Science & Technology Co., Ltd. The agreement includes plans for introducing KylinRay advanced Technology to Pakistan, establishing a Cancer Research Center, and organizing medical education activities. Discussions for more cooperative opportunities in construction science and technology and talent training are ongoing post-meeting.

The exchange meeting signifies a step towards strengthening educational and scientific ties between Pakistan and China, paving the way for innovative collaborations and advancements in various fields.
