GB News host Eamonn, 64, has touched down in Spain with Katie Alexander for a romantic getaway – news of which left the Loose Women anchor “in shock.”
Now her followers suspect Ruth, also 64, is struggling to conceal her heartache before her host of telly roles.
One took to X to comment: “You can tell that Ruth has been hurting from the pictures of Eamonn with her younger blondie, Ruth looks like she has been crying as her eyes looks puffed up.”
Another wrote: “Cannot be easy for Ruth when Eamonn features in most newspapers.”
A third then quipped: “I can’t wait to see Ruth’s new boyfriend.”
The comments came after Ruth was seen filming a new Instagram video wearing a smart green blazer.

This week, a source told Mail Online that Eamonn’s public holiday with his new girlfriend – which saw him arrive at the airport with his crutches and walker – has left Ruth “shocked”.

Revealing their split after 14 years in an exclusive statement to The Sun on Sunday, their spokesperson said: “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.”
