The pair could not stop smiling at one another as they were seen moving around the dancefloor and sharing a slew of laughs with each other.

At one point, the happy couple even flashed a thumbs-up to onlookers from the window of the wedding venue.

68-year-old Paul opted for a navy blue suit for his big day whilst Lorna stunned in an elegant white wedding gown.

The elegant lace gown featured a beaded skirt and eloquently showed off Lorna’s shapely figure.

Paul’s wedding comes six years after he tragically lost his first wife Stacey Smith to brain cancer.

The newlyweds walked down the aisle earlier in the day surrounded by their loving family and friends.

Sharing a post to Instagram after the ceremony, Paul said: “Meet the new Mrs Young!

“Today I married the most wonderful girl.. thank you Lorna, this is one of the happiest days of my life.”

Another snap showed the pair cutting into their wedding cake for the very first time.

Lorna then threw her hands in the air in celebration as she soaked up the wedding atmosphere.

Mum’s controversial wedding outfit

Last year it was confirmed that Paul had popped the question to the stunning 45-year-old, five years after his first wife died of cancer.

Sharing a photo with Lorna, Paul wrote on Instagram: “Lorna said Yes! [ring emoji] We are both so happy and both looking forward to a wonderful future together [heart emoji].”

Lorna shared the same photo on her own account and posted: “My world [globe emoji] my love, my everything, 5 years of joy, I could not love anyone more [ring and heart emojis].”

Lorna has also updated her Instagram biography to reflect her excitement at being engaged.

She wrote: “Engaged to Paul Young and living my best life, love travel especially Italy, write a bit, proud mum to Aaron Young.”

Paul previously used social media to announce Stacey had lost her two-year battle with brain cancer.

He wrote on Twitter in 2018: “Sadly Stacey has passed away today after a two year fight with brain cancer.

“She died peacefully at our home surrounded by family, friends and her four children Levi, Layla, Grady and Jude.”

They were also spotted sharing a smooch with each other

Paul recently admitted Stacey’s death has inspired him to want to “make something” out of his life.

He said: “It made me want to make something of my life and do something for the children.

“Work has been cathartic. I want to be alive for as long as possible and as I have got older, my body seems to tell me what I should and shouldn’t have which means I have less red meat and more vegetables.”

Paul met his first wife on the video shoot for his second single, Come Back and Sta’, in 1983, and they tied the knot four years later when they were living together in Los Angeles.
