Oasis agrees to extend tour, but fans will need to travel across the globe to catch a show

Oasis have reportedly ‘verbally agreed’ to a massive reunion tour expansion, with plans to take the show on the road beyond the UK and Ireland. Fans have expressed frustration over dynamic pricing and ticketing issues, leading the band to add more UK gigs with a fairer ticketing system. The band is now rumored to be planning huge dates across America, Mexico, and Argentina, with Live Nation promoters pushing for the tour to happen. The potential US leg of Oasis Live ’25 could increase profits to over £500 million, with fans speculating about upcoming American dates after spotting clues online. The newly announced sold-out reunion tour will mark Oasis’ first U.K. and Ireland shows in 16 years, following their breakup in 2009.

Oasis ‘verbally agree’ to huge tour extension – but you’ll have to fly across the world to see them

OASIS have reportedly ‘verbally agreed’ to a massive reunion tour expansion – but it’s bad news for UK fans.

The legendary band – fronted by Noel and Liam Gallagher – are reuniting for a UK and Ireland 2025 tour and now they have apparently agreed to take the show on the road.

Fans have been left bitter by the band and Ticketmaster cashing in with so-called dynamic pricing, leading to the band putting on two more UK gigs with a fairer ticketing system.

But now supports suggest the band has agreed to put on huge dates across America, Mexico and Argentina.

A source told the Sunday Mirror: “Their promoters at Live Nation are incredibly keen for this to happen, and Liam and Noel have verbally agreed plans.

“The question of if they will manage to go the duration of the tour without falling out has been raised, but there is now a massive financial incentive for them to keep the show on the road.”

The report claims the band will play the 70,000 seat SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles as well as other huge venues across the United States.

It’s claimed a US leg of Oasis Live ’25 may increase the band’s profits to more than £500million.

Earlier this week eagle-eyed fans spotted ‘proof’ the band were planning an American jaunt.

Followers have been scouring JamBase, an online news portal for live music and entertainment and have noticed that some August dates have been logged and Oasis are due to perform at Downsize Park in Toronto in August.

Now that there appears to be some Canadian dates in the bag, fans seem to think a US trip is inevitable.

One said: “The leak is real, I work closely with MetLife stadium, they’re coming August 30th and 31st.”

Another said: “Horrible if they don’t have to NYC.”

Indeed the Gallagher brothers also teased a US trip on their Instagram stories earlier this week.

The clip featured a digital Amazon Music ad in New York City’s Times Square that read, “If we need to put up a billboard to get these guys to come to the States, here it is.”

The billboard’s message was presented alongside the  black-and-white publicity shot of Noel, 57, and Liam, 51 — plus a side-eye emoji from Oasis on their post, which set tongues wagging.

The newly announced sold-out reunion tour will mark Oasis’ first U.K. and Ireland shows in 16 years, and comes almost 15 years after the Gallagher brothers famously broke up in 2009 following an alleged argument backstage at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.

“The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised,” Oasis said in a statement of the reunion tour, per a release obtained by PEOPLE.

“This is it, this is happening,” the band added in an Instagram post teasing the return.
