36 Degrees North, a hub for entrepreneurs and startups in Tulsa, is set to open a new 115,000-square-foot central tech hub in downtown. The $38-million project will consolidate the organization’s three locations into one building at 12 N. Cheyenne Ave. The CEO, Devon Laney, expressed excitement about the new space, calling it one of the largest tech hubs in the United States.
Founded in 2016, 36 Degrees North aims to provide resources, workspace, and connections for startups seeking funding opportunities and partnerships. The organization has already made a significant impact on the Tulsa area, with a recent report showing over $1.1 billion in economic impact over the past five years.
The new tech hub will feature workspace for teams of all sizes, an onsite cafe and bar, a 300-person event space, incubator and accelerator programs, and state-of-the-art training and meeting rooms. The financing for the facility is led by Stride Bank, Brave Star Capital, and TEDC.
Supported by various foundations and partners, 36 Degrees North has become a key player in the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Tulsa. The organization’s recent economic impact report for 2023 highlights the success of their programs, with hundreds of businesses served, thousands of jobs affected, and millions in economic impact generated.
