The Food Standards Agency has announced that several suppliers to major retailers are recalling sandwiches, wraps, and salads as a precautionary measure in response to findings from investigations into the ongoing E coli outbreak. Greencore, which supplies supermarkets like Asda, Morrisons, and Sainsbury’s, is recalling 45 products, while Samworth Brothers Manton Wood, which supplies Tesco and OneStop, is recalling 15 products. Shoppers who have purchased any of the affected items are advised not to consume them and to return them to the store for a full refund. The list of recalled products includes a variety of sandwiches, wraps, and salads from different retailers like Aldi, Asda, Boots, Co-op, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, and OneStop.
