Katie Price Provides Update on Break-In at Mucky Mansion Following Series of Robbery Attempts

Katie Price has shared an update on her Mucky Mansion break-in following a string of attempted robberies, revealing that a man has been held by police over the alleged offense. The former glamour model turned reality star had been served with an eviction notice for the nine-bedroom property before leaving last month. She had previously called the police after a man reportedly broke into the Mucky Mansion, despite having hired ’24/7 security’. Katie explained to The Sun that the man had been selling her belongings on Facebook Marketplace, leading to his arrest and remand until August. Additionally, she had been slapped with an £800,000 bill for the property due to a fly tipper incident, with the council giving her two years to clean it up. Katie’s financial struggles, including two bankruptcies, were also highlighted, with her blaming exes and lawyers for her money woes.

Double-bankrupt Katie had been served with an eviction notice for the nine-bedroom property.

Before that Pricey had been forced to call the police again after a man reportedly broke into the Mucky Mansion.

She told fans how she rang cops after the intruder entered her property, despite previously boasting that she’d hired ’24/7 security’.

And now the mum-of-five has revealed a man has been held by police over the alleged offence.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Katie explained: “They’ve got someone in remand now until August.

“He was selling my stuff on Facebook Marketplace, we’ve got all the evidence of everything so they’ve actually arrested him and got him in remand at the minute.”

After being contacted for comment, Sussex Police previously told us: “Police received a report of a possible break-in at an address in Dial Post near Horsham at about 6pm on Tuesday, June 18.

“Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to report it to Sussex Police online, quoting serial 1227 of 18/06.”

Katie had taken to Instagram to share snaps of the incident and called on fans to help identify him.

Last month, Katie rang the police three times in a week, accusing two men of an attempted break-in.

Meanwhile, Katie also told The Sun how she was slapped with an £800,000 bill for her Mucky Mansion.

Pricey revealed how a fly tipper had resulted in the council giving her two years to clean the property up.

Katie Price’s missing millions

At the peak of her career Katie had an estimated fortune of £45m, thanks to her lucrative modelling career, book deals, and TV appearances.

The cash-strapped mum-of-five was first declared bankrupt in 2019 over unpaid debts of £3.2 million.

In a podcast interview earlier this year she blamed her exes who include Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler and lawyers for her money woes.

She insisted that funding her exes’ lavish lifestyles with cars, watches, luxury holidays and homes left her finances in tatters.

She added: “I went through a breakdown, this is how mine started – lawyers and exes, that is my bankruptcy thing.

“And obviously a bit of HMRC.

“When I had my breakdown, if anyone has been depressed …. I don’t know if you’ve ever had depression…

“It starts with depression and you just want to sleep all day and not talk to anyone, the phone would ring and you wouldn’t answer it.’

Katie was declared bankrupt for a second time in March over an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05.

The demand for payment was made by HMRC last October.

Katie was due to give evidence about her finances at the High Court but failed to turn up – holidaying in Cyprus with her new man JJ Slater instead.

Her Mucky Mansion was a bomb site for years after it was burgled, flooded and swamped by an overflowing septic tank.

She finally moved out at the end of May and is currently renting a four-bed mansion in Sussex.
