Pub landlord stabbed to death by former sister-in-law in Maidstone, court hears
A shocking incident unfolded at the Hare and Hounds pub in Maidstone, Kent, as pub landlord Matthew Bryant was fatally stabbed by his former sister-in-law, Stephanie Langley. The jury at Maidstone Crown Court was shown footage of the horrific attack, where Langley repeatedly stabbed Bryant with a kitchen knife.
Witnesses recounted the chilling moments leading up to the attack, with Langley allegedly expressing her intentions to kill Bryant before carrying out the violent act. Despite paramedics’ efforts to save his life, Bryant tragically succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
