Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards 2024: Setting the Stage

The stage is set for the highly anticipated Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards 2024, taking place this week at the prestigious Hinxton Hall Conference Centre on the Wellcome Genome Campus.

The awards, now in their seventh year, will honor the outstanding achievements of companies, organizations, and individuals across various sectors including cleantech, biotech, AI, and medtech.

Three hundred guests will gather at Hinxton Hall on Thursday evening, May 16th, for a networking reception followed by the awards ceremony in the Francis Crick Auditorium. Winners will be revealed across 16 categories, following a rigorous judging process by an experienced panel.

One of the highlights of the evening will be the announcement of the recipient of the In Search of Wonder Lifetime Achievement Award, sponsored by JDJ Creative. This prestigious award recognizes an individual who has made a significant contribution to their field throughout their career.

Excitement is also building for the introduction of a new category this year: Software Company of the Year, sponsored by Mantle Space. Additionally, there are categories for Researcher of the Year and CEO of the Year, showcasing talented individuals in the industry.

The awards will also recognize promising early-stage companies with the One to Watch award, sponsored by cofinitive. Previous winners include innovative companies such as Kalium Health and Mogrify.

With a stellar lineup of sponsors including Appleyard Lees, Woodfines Solicitors, and Chesterford Research Park, the Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards promise to be a night to remember.
