But it turns out he might not be the only one joining the Gallagher brothers up on stage.

Guitarist Gem Archer has also reportedly been offered the chance to get up on the stage with Oasis.

Gem held a pivotal role in Oasis, and his career has left an indelible mark on the music world.

In November 1999, Gem joined the band as a rhythm guitarist, stepping in after the departure of Bonehead.

His role in Oasis was multifaceted – he played rhythm guitar, handled lead guitar on acoustic tracks, and contributed to songwriting.

And The Mirror reports that Liam and Noel want him on board for the 2025 blockbuster gigs, with the musician expected to agree to a deal shortly.

A source said: “None of the band is 100% confirmed yet, but Gem is looking very likely along with Bonehead.

“The key is getting people who both brothers get on with and also respect and ideally of course they would also have been in the band before too.

“Gem ticks all those boxes and he also contributed to the writing of some Oasis songs.

“He is an obvious target and it would be a huge shock if he was not on the stage for the UK tour.

“He knows the songs, he knows the band inside out and he has been on tour with the Gallaghers before and so he knows what he would be signing up for.”

Gem’s arrival brought a new dynamic to the band, which was reflected in the evolving sound of Oasis during his tenure.

After Oasis broke up in August 2009, Gem joined Liam Gallagher, Andy Bell, and Chris Sharrock in forming Beady Eye.

The band released two albums, Different Gear, Still Speeding, and BE, before they split in October 2014.

In 2017, he rejoined Noel Gallagher, this time as the lead guitarist for Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.

He played a significant role in Paul Weller’s albums Illumination and 22 Dreams, and worked with Irish DJ David Holmes on the album Let’s Get Killed.

He also contributed to projects by Andy Bell and Noel Gallagher.

In August 2013, Gem experienced a serious accident, resulting in head trauma and a fractured skull, but recovered after medical treatment.

And it’s exciting news for Oasis fans as tickets for the shows in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin go on sale on Saturday morning.

None will be televised, the band revealed yesterday.

Insiders told The Sun that extra concerts will be announced once this run sells out.

A total of 1,066,888 tickets will be available over the 14 gigs with demand set to be four times that.

A source said: “These shows will sell out in less than three minutes. Extra dates will be added for sure.”
