Temperatures will range from the mid-90s to around 100, with heat index values making it feel like 105 degrees or higher in the afternoon. Slight storm chances may linger into the early evening, mainly to the south and east, before clearing out and becoming less muggy overnight.
Tomorrow, lower humidity will provide some relief, with temperatures a few degrees cooler than today. However, it will still be hot with highs in the low to mid-90s. Humidity will increase overnight, keeping lows in the mid-70s to near 80 by dawn.
As the workweek begins, hot and humid conditions will persist, with highs in the mid-90s and heat index values making it feel like 100 to 105. Isolated storms are possible on Monday and Tuesday, with slightly better chances for rain by midweek as a front stalls in the region.
